Course Descriptions and Objectives: 

Keep the Kids IN your Practice

As a general practitioner, you should be able to care for most of the kids in your practice, without having to refer them out to the pediatric dentist across town. Taking care of your kids should be fun and stress free. In this two day course, you will learn how with the most up to date methods and techniques for intra-coronal restorations, primary dentition full coverage, pulpotomies and more. Step by step instructions will be provided to help you become a superstar with the kids and parents in your practice. As Benjamin Franklin said "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn." In this course, you will be involved. You've heard it before - treat your kids well and your practice will soar. 

Course Objectives:

Learn efficient reliable paediatric methods and techniques.

Effectively treat anterior and posterior primary dentition decay.

Succesfully diagnose and treat pulpally involved teeth with new materials.

Event Details:

The YM Education Center is a new, state-of-the-art educational facility in Chantilly, VA and home to YM Dental Lab. The venue is conveniently located 25 miles from Washington DC, with fully equipped, spacious educational areas designed to easily seat up to 40 attendees, socially distanced. You can tour the lab and education facility, here. 

There is ample, free parking in front of the facility.

Registration opens at 8:00 am, course to begin promptly at 8:30 am.

Coffee, soft drinks and water will be available throughout the day, Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day.

Dr. Carla Cohn

Dr. Cohn is a general dentist, devoted solely to the practice of dentistry for children. She graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1991 and then went on to complete a post-graduate internship in Paediatric Dentistry. Since then, Dr. Cohn has devoted herself to the care and treatment of children only. She maintains a private practice at Kids Sleep Dentistry Winnipeg, Canada. Dr. Cohn is a partner, and has surgical privileges at Western Surgery Center, a private surgical clinic. In addition to private practice, she is a part time clinical instructor, in Paediatric Dentistry at her alma mater, Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry at the University of Manitoba.

Event Cancellation Policy:

Full refunds will only be given up to 30 days before the course. If a refund is requested within 30 days of the course, a credit will be applied to the registrants account for use toward a future VAGD program.
