Course Description:

During this Introduction to Botox course, we will discuss and learn the fundamentals of performing cosmetic injections with Botox for the glabella region (frown lines, nasal wrinkles), forehead lines and crow's feet.

These lectures will help you understand the basics of these aesthetic procedures but will also prepare you for hands-on training in a fun, comfortable and safe learning environment.

The clinical session will include demonstrations, activities with partners, and one-on-one guidance from your instructor to help you perfect your cosmetic injection techniques. As this is a student event - saline will be used in place of Botox during the hands-on portion. This includes coming up with a treatment plan while understanding what outcome the client would like.

In select courses - demonstration of the use of BOTOX® and DAXXIFY® may be administered on volunteer patients. In addition to treating clients, you will have the opportunity to receive these anti-aging services. To truly understand what your clients will experience, we believe it’s important to have the procedure yourself!

Course Objectives:

Your instructor will also lead in-depth discussions about topics that include:

  • Safety protocols for various cosmetic injections
  • How lines, folds, and wrinkles occur
  • Proper injection areas for Botox
  • How to conduct the consultation process
  • The risks and benefits of different cosmetic injections

Your Tuition Includes:

  • A folder that consists of written materials and marketing tools, including examples of history, consent and policy forms
  • Disposable supplies for the hands-on clinical session (ie. markers, syringes, gauze, gloves, masks, etc)
  • A certificate of training upon completion of the course to verify 8 hours of CEU received for Level 1: Botox for the Upper Face

Your Tuition Does NOT Include:

  • Your tuition does NOT include the botox material. If you choose to use botox material instead of saline, you will need to purchase a vial of Daxxify® at cost (from Dr. Mai-Ly direct from Revance - $310) at the course.
