Presenter Biography:

Dr. Rishita Jaju is a board-certified pediatric dentist, Harvard-trained "mommy dentist," TEDx speaker, author, and a leading expert in pediatric and laser dentistry. As founder of Smile Wonders in Reston, VA, she combines her extensive experience with a deep passion for infant oral health, particularly in children with feeding difficulties. Her advanced laser proficiency, including Mastership status from the Academy of Laser Dentistry and Breastfeeding Specialist Certification from Lactation Educational Resources, distinguish her as one of the few in the country with this unique skill set. Dr. Jaju's leadership extends beyond her practice. Her service as chief resident and visiting faculty at Children'sNational Medical Center, contributions to the Council of Clinical Affairs for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and involvement with the AmericanBoard of Pediatric Dentistry's Examination Committee demonstrate her commitment to advancing the field. Her publications in peer-reviewed journals cover diverse topics, from special healthcare needs and behavior guidance to laser dentistry and pain management. Driven by a passion for education, Dr. Jaju founded the Pediatric Laser Academy. Through live and virtual training sessions, webinars, and podcasts, she empowers fellow healthcare professionals—dentists, pediatricians, lactation consultants, and more—to integrate laser technology into their practices. Her popular hands-on infant frenectomy training has become a sought-after resource.
