ABOUT THE COURSE:
Providing oral health care to individuals with disabilities requires modifications to the delivery of treatment and the types of treatment administered. This course targets dental health providers who strive to identify strategies that increase their ability to administer dental care to pediatric patients,individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (ID/DD), acquired disabilities, and other with special healthcare needs.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Mai-Ly Duong, DMD, MPH, MAEd, MAGD
Dr. Mai-Ly serves as Associate Professor and full-time Director of Special Care Dentistry at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. She is a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). She is an active AGD and ADA member serving both on the state and national level in various positions. She is passionate about caring for individuals in underserved populations such as those with disabilities, veterans, elderly, and more.
