Description:
4 CEU - Code 780 Esthetics
This introductory hands-on training workshop explores the multiple cosmetic applications of Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF). In the field of aesthetics, PRP is well-known, but PRF is less familiar. Contrary to media hype, PRF is not a new procedure; it has been utilized for a long time in dentistry and wound healing. Essentially, PRF is a semi-solid form of PRP. The didactic presentation will cover PRF science and theory, the mechanism of action, the optimal platelet levels required for regenerative aesthetic procedures. The hands-on portion of the course will introduce you to the equipment, supplies and technique by way of hair follicle stimulation.
