Course Descriptions and Objectives: 

Modern Dental Implant Surgery

-Discussing the Elements of Successful and Esthetic Dental Implants.

-Taking Advantage of the Role of CBCT in Patient Assessment, Selection and Treatment Planning.

-Have a Basic Understanding of Optimal Implant Position.

-Understanding Guided Bone Regeneration as a Technique to Optimize Anatomy for Dental Implant Surgery.

-Learn the Criteria for Appropriate Barrier Membrane and Bone Graft Selection.

-Understand the Surgical Steps to Help Improve Treatment Outcome.

Event Details:

The YM Education Center is a new, state-of-the-art educational facility in Chantilly, VA and home to YM Dental Lab. The venue is conveniently located 25 miles from Washington DC, with fully equipped, spacious educational areas designed to easily seat up to 40 attendees, socially distanced. You can tour the lab and education facility, here. 

There is ample, free parking in front of the facility.

Registration opens at 8:00 am, course to begin promptly at 8:30 am.

Coffee, soft drinks and water will be available throughout the day, and a boxed lunch will be provided each day.

Dr. Abdel-ghany Alsaidi

Dr. Alsaidi is a Board Certified, Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and dental implant surgery. Currently practices full-time in metro Detroit Michigan. He Cofounded Michigan Gum Docs a comprehensive periodontal and implant practice in Southfield, Michigan.

His practice includes conventional periodontal therapy for tooth maintenance, periodontal plastics, Micro-surgery as well as advanced regenerative techniques and implant rehabilitation. His current area of focus lies in immediate implant placement and temporization for single, multiple, and full arch reconstruction. Dr. Alsaidi is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he pursued a three-year post-doctoral program in Periodontology and received a Certificate in Clinical Periodontology, Implantology and a Master of Science in Periodontal Clinical Research.

He also graduated from the Dental School at Damascus University, and the University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry. He was awarded the advanced education fellowship award from North Carolina Dental Foundation, and the Billy Pennel award for the clinical research category from the Southern Academy of Periodontology.

Event Cancellation Policy:

Full refunds will only be given up to 30 days before the course. If a refund is requested within 30 days of the course, a credit will be applied to the registrants account for use toward a future VAGD program.  

Virginia AGD is designated as an Approved PACE Program Provider by the Academy of General Dentistry. The formal continuing education programs of this program provider are accepted by the AGD for Fellowship/Mastership and membership maintenance credit. Approval does not imply acceptance by a state or provincial board of dentistry or AGD endorsement. The current term of approval extends from June 1, 2023 to May 31, 2026. Provider ID# 219330
