Arizona AGD is teaming up with Dr. Mai-Ly Duong to raise money for the National Kidney Foundation of Arizona. 100% of the proceeds from this course will be donated to the National Kidney Foundation of Arizona to help patients undergoing dialysis and kidney transplants overcome social and financial barriers to kidney treatment.

Course Description:

During this Introduction to Botox course, we will discuss and learn the fundamentals of performing cosmetic injections with Botox for the glabella region (frown lines, nasal wrinkles), forehead lines and crow's feet.

These lectures not only will help you understand the basics of these aesthetic procedures but will also prepare you for hands-on training in a fun, comfortable and safe learning environment.

Students/Residents will NOT be administering Botox on each other. The hands-on portion will include activities such as, but not limited to: how to properly document, how to properly diagnose, how to identify injection sites, and how to perform proper injection technique. Any injections that take place will take place with a placebo.

If you are a resident with an active dental license and malpractice insurance and desire to administer Botox, you can register for the Sat. March 2 doctor course at full cost.

Fine print: This is a charity fundraiser, breakfast will be limited to donuts and lunch will be pizza. Please bring a packed lunch or eat before the course if you desire something else.

Course Objectives:

Your instructor will also lead in-depth discussions about topics that include:

  • Safety protocols for various cosmetic injections
  • How lines, folds, and wrinkles occur
  • Proper injection areas for Botox
  • How to conduct the consultation process
  • The risks and benefits of different cosmetic injections
