Peri-Implantitis and Implant Maintenance

Course Description:

This course is designed for the General Dentist to understand and be able to describe the etiology of peri-implantitis and how to best maintain peri-implant health.

Course Objectives:

Following this course, doctors will be able to:
1. Identify Peri-Implantitis
2. Proper Maintenance of Implants
3. When to refer out for surgery

Speaker Bio: Dr. Adam F. Weaver, DDS, MS received his Bachelor's Degree from BYU in 1993, his DDS from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 1997. He furthered his dental education by completeing a Periodontal Residency and attaining a Master's of Science from Marquette University in 2000. Dr. Weaver maintains his private practices since 2000 in Denver and Colorado Springs. 

Dr. Weaver grew up in Fort Collins, CO, attended BYU, where he served a 2 year mission for his church in Paraguay. He graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 1997, went to the VA Medical Center and Marquette University for his Periodontal Residency, which he finished in 2000. He went on to purchase an exisiting periodontal dental practice and now has two offices in the DTC and Colorado Springs areas. He has an associate, Dr. Chetan Patodia. Dr. Weaver is married for 28 years and has 4 children, Connor, Preston, Adin and Mia; 2 daughter-in laws, Hannah and Haleigh. He will be becoming a grandfather in May 2023 as Connor and Hannah are expecting thier first child. 

When not doing dentistry, Dr. Weaver enjoys triathlons, mountain biking, snowbaording, water sking, wakeboarding, wake surfing and any activities with his family. He also speaks four langauges.

• Registration is not considered final until payment is received.
• Email confirmation will be sent out within one week of receipt.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

• Cancellations made by January 20, 2023: full refund
• Cancellations after January 20, 2023 : no refund and $10 administration fee

Colorado AGD reserves the right to: (i) cancel any course at any time; (ii) change speakers; (iii) change the venue; (iv) change the programming; (v) change the time; and (vi) change the location, all without notice and at its sole discretion and shall not be liable for any costs, expenses, damages or any other amount whatsoever due to such cancellation or changes to the course offering. Colorado AGD shall be under no obligation to reschedule any course which has been canceled. Colorado AGD shall be under no obligation to offer meals or refreshments at any of its courses and is under no obligation to accommodate any special dietary restrictions at courses where meals are offered.

Colorado AGD will not be liable for any expenses incurred by any registrant for attendance at a course, including but not limited to: travel expenses, accommodations, meals, salaries, wages, and loss of income, or for participant’s failure to attend a course.
